In this issue:  Amistad Research Center welcomes public historian Kathe Hambrick as its new interim Executive Director...the Center extends its heartfelt thanks to all Preserve The Legacy | Preserve Your Legacy donors from 2022...Amistad joined the New Orleans Pelicans for HBCU Night with a pop-up exhibition and selfie station featuring materials from collections at the Center...thanks to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation community partnership grant, Amistad will digitize important footage of New Orleans' musical heritage...additional support from The Keller Family Foundation and The Greater New Orleans Foundation will help Amistad to continue advancing its legacy.
